You might want to consider using Fluid A (and family) products for your cars cavities.

The housing of the LH headlight was bad, but now it is restored.
The trick is now to keep this place in the front fender free form dirt.

Nice!

Do you have the notch there?

I tried to use the SLS seals headlight body-headlight housing in the wing and I threw them away to trash bin. I used the originals from MB that have a good fit and are soft to ensure sealing. They have much higher price though...

Yes the notch is still there.
I still have to buy the seals, just like nearly all the rubber.

I am curious what is Fluid A?  I am aware of Dinitrol products but havent seen sight of Fluid A.

Also, while on the subject of the cavities.  Do you think it is best treating them with a cavity wax as you progress repairs or waiting till the end and pumping the stuff in after priming the vehicle?  I am just thinking if cavity wax does run it will probably reduce any adhesion of primer paint.  This is the approach I have been taking.

I was also wondering what Fluid A was.
My strategy is to have the car completely painted and after that spray cavitation wax in as many hollow sections as possible.
I will drill several holes before the paining to reach these hollow sections, and close the holes with plugs.

Fluidfilm A:
a very low viscosity cavity wax, very easy to handle that flows/distributs very well in the cavities.

There was a bad repaired spot at the back which was also slightly bent inwards, compared to the straight green line.
So also here I welded a part of the back section.

This is not because it's cold in the garage.
It could have been art, but it's not.
It's just protection against 3M™ Body Gard which is going to be sprayed against the bottom.  ;D

careful with the taping - I notice a couple areas where paint could get in under the paper.  Take an air compressor and hit the paper lightly and see if anything balloons up - paint will get in there.

The complete underside and wheel arches have a layer of Body Gard now.
It's paintable, so the complete body will get the same color.
Just find a sheet metal worker/painter now to make it shiny again.

I do not know if you have interest in "Factory original" when working with your project. Anyway, I want to mention that from the Factory, our Pagoda cars were not at all "shiny" underneath. And they were not painted on the (whole) underside with the colour of the outside body.
Some info on this matter for instance in this posting and the links within it:

Congratulations on the progress .!!! ....not even 4 months have passed  since the "arrival" photos.
Is the engine , gearbox etc being worked on in parallel or will you start on that once the body is finished ?

Pedro

Hi Pedro,
They are still in the waiting room.  :D
When the car is at the paint shop, I have plenty of time for the other parts.

I found an original tow bar mounting beam, I just have to drill some mounting holes and weld some spacers.
At the second picture it is clear to see that the last owner had some terrible grit blasting been done.
The dents were filled with bondo and also the bonnet is like this.
So these aluminum parts must be made in the right curve again.
Unfortunately not every sheet metal worker has that skills.

The transformation of the rear axle.
Cleaned outside and inside and various parts renewed.
There are more new parts ready to be completed again.
