Since yours is a 1970 model, given the location of the connector I'm going to go with either a clutch pedal/starter interlock switch or a door buzzer.  Door buzzer seems more likely, simply because the then new requirement for an audible "key in the ignition" warning was annoying as all get out and a lot of us used to disable the */!@# thing back in the day.

Yes, latest Pagodas (maybe just USA) had a round warning buzzer.  Green and red colors possibly?
