Does anyone have any advice on removing the small screws holding the bottom rear chrome on the hard top? Mine have seized or rusted and I'm afraid of stripping the head or breaking the screws off. Ive used PB blaster without success. Thanks Chuck

I have found that a product called Aero Kroil  made by Kano Labs in Tennessee is very good for frozen parts. www.kanolabs.com.  spray cans.

Chuck,
Drill out the heads of the chrome screws and remove the trim.
Use locking pliers and twist out the screw remains, like a screwdriver.
New screws are easily obtained via web or furniture store.

JB and Walter, Thanks I'll try to find the Kroll. I'll drill as a last option. I fear not being able to get the screw out after drilling. Its happened to me before.

This might be overkill on such small screws but it has saved me several times...

Take a flat drift (punch) and hammer and tap on the head of the screw first. Then remove it with a good screwdriver. Repeat if needed.  The impact will break the bite of the rusty fastener so it can be removed.
