Anyone know what other Mercedes models shared this gas cap?   I stopped and bought gas last night and left it....   Went back to the station and no one turned it in.   What's the model number?    Any recommendations of where to get?    I had a locking one and hated it.  Like the simplicity of this one and would just like to get another.

There is one on eBay

Here —-> https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrome-locking-gas-cap-fits-Pagoda-W113-113-w121-121-mercedes-280se-190sl-3-5-/282681446615

Expensive yes, then all parts for our cars are.

Tip, I put mine with keys in the gas cap on top of the gas station pump, this makes sure I never ever leave the station without it :) no pun intended here. Get an original one, think of it as another tank of gas.

Trouble is with giving you a part number - when I look at parts lists I get two types of filler cups you can order with your key number and one with key undefined. It suggests the filler cup you show on the picture is not W113 cup.

I can check e.g. PN for this type of cup for W463 (I have one like that), but I do not know if it will fit. These cups in my W463 are from W124.

You have a suggestion below that any off of W107 will fit.

I would go and try some at some dealership or shop.

Dana,

Do I see this correctly?  ???
 You do want to get a gascap again as pictured on your car? ??? ::)
Not the original lockable one (A000 471 2030)? :o

Instead, you are looking for _that_ W124 one on your car?

Go and search for A124 470 0005.  ;)
Commonly available. Later on replaced by the same one made of plastic.

thanks.   107 option works.   Yes, I don't care for the locking one.    Happy with that one and just like to replace it.

You can find Benz Dr, Original Gas Cap

here ----> https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=28247.0

Dan, WOW is all I can say :) $295US = $385.45 Canadian plus shipping (for our Canadian friends), Can one ask for a discount being a MB and Pagoda SL Group Member?   I hope I never have to purchase one. If so I know where you live :) at least there be no heavy Canadian shipping costs. :) Gas cost is okay who cares we all love to drive our Pagoda, besides its always nice to visit with you.

I hope I never lose mine, then I park the gas cap with keys inside on top of the Gas Pump, hopefully, I never change that habit unless I get Dementia after all the treatment I am under now LOL if so you may see my Pagoda for sale here since the Province of Ontario surly will take my license away for good. ;) Using this method (car ignition and gas cap keys with gas cap on top of pump), I can never drive away from the gas station. Or shall I rephrase that "Never Leave Home Without It" Oops should have read "STation Not Home"

Read the ad again and it will say $295.00 USD. As much as that may be it's still less than just about everywhere.

I know Dan, I also know replacement parts are expensive and over the top. I just did not realize that a gas cap could be that expensive.

I added my post here just to help others to find your post since it is on page 2 of items for Sale, also that you did not mention the price in the thread were the Member lost his gas cap.

The rest of my post here was just meant for fun, you know, I like to tell a story just like you do :)

Take care, Best and good luck with the sale.
