Big Blue Book aka BBB SOLD
« on: April 01, 2019, 19:34:17 »
One iconic BBB for sale. In good condition and not full of greasy hand prints (except for a few pages on the injection pump which gave me *&?%$ headaches on my 230SL!)

Asking 120$US + shipping SOLD

Also service manual from Kenneth Ball for W114 1968-1972
15$ + shipping

Thanks!

For prospective buyers.....this BBB is the early one most relevant to 230SLs etc. "Passenger Cars Starting 1968..." would be the later BBB most relevant to the 280SL. However the early BBB does contain some relevant information for the later W113 cars also. Both the early and late BBBs are needed for a complete reference. Latest printings of either will include all factory updates and suppliments.

Thanks for the added info Joe! My book was modified in Oct. 67 as printed in the book.

This may be a dumb question, but where it the revision (10-67) info stated in the BBB?

Thanks.

Hello Wallace,

Actually, there are many of these mentions.

They are in a rectangular box at the bottom of pages, starting 0-3/1 Technical specification

Some say Modification Oct. 67, others April 67, some February 68. They are all over the book on many pages. Some say 'Supplement', others say 'Modification' while yet others say 'Changes'.

I had never noticed these before your question!, so no, not a dumb question.
