230sl at Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Honolulu

This weekend I attended a function at the pink Royal Hawaiian, which was built in the Moorish style around 1920, and the valets let me keep the car out front. I think there are just a few w113's on Oahu and the valets said that while I was attending the event literally dozens of hotel guests took pictures of and in front of my car, which of course gives me a thrill. A lot of Japanese stay here and SL's are even rarer in Japan, so they were taking lots of pictures apparently. Somehow too the grey beige over turquoise with ivory steering wheel looks perfect parked in front of this historic hotel - talk about stepping into another era!

Jonny B: Never. It never gets old!

66andBlue: I'd be honored if it were to be considered!

Rolf-Dieter: Thanks! I might've left a drop or two - leaving my mark on the world you might say.
