lubricating drum brake thrust pins
« on: July 03, 2019, 13:06:28 »
hello
just double checking that the ends of the thrust pins for the drum brake cylinders should be lubricated where the insert into the rubber cup.

I vaguely recall the bbb mentioning lubricating with brake fluid.   but i am not sure.

would a rubber lubricant like syl glide  work as well?

thanks matt

Gernold recommended ATF to lube the end of the thrust pins..
