Padova Vintage and Collector Car and Motorcycle Fair

Last weekend I spent a day at a large fair in Padova, Italy for vintage and collector cars and motorcycles.  See the event web site at autoemotodepoca.com for an idea of the size and content of the event.  There were perhaps 20 Pagodas on display, mostly for sale, ranging in quality from a complete wreck to high end commercial restorations.  Friday’s auction included two Pagodas.  One of the auction drawing cards was an unrestored barn find Maseratti used by Jaun Manual Fangio when in italy.

I too attended the Italian show. We stayed in Venice for a long weekend which was fabulous and travelled by train approx 40 mins to the show in Padova which is a lovely alternative to Stuttgart or Essen. Obviously highly
Focused on Italian cars but lots of Mercedes

Very true Ralph, not long ago it would have been scrapped! At least it wasn’t described as a barn find!
