There is to be another Coffee run.


After a very successful first 2020  Pagoda coffee run this weekend in Melbourne with seven pagodas and one modern, it was a great run through the Dandenong Ranges. 


Mark up your calendars for the next one on 22 February 2020.  Anyone want to have a suggestion on where we go.  Want a start point and about 1-1/12 hour drive there to a small town for coffee.


I was going to suggest Hanging Rock Reserve cafe for coffee starting at Albert Park lake area which would be about an hour or so drive.  However there is the Mercedes Benz Club Victoria day the week before at Ray Lodder’s Lake House which is very close by in Woodend so maybe Hanging Rock can be put away for another time.


Let me have some suggestions both start and finish and i will put out a mail with details.


Just a comment, several asked me if this was some sort of club run.  This is not a club, we just Pagoda owners going for a Saturday morning coffee and all welcome either in their Pagodas or other car if Pagoda not going.
I searched all known names of Pagoda owners i knew, getting info from the sl113.org site and MBCV known Pagodas to me. i am sure there are more and if you know of any let m know and i will add to mailing list.

Hello Garry and Fellow Pagoda owners
Definitely count me in on the next run. Just wondering if we could change the day to Sunday the 23rd . My daughter has sport every Saturday mornings whilst school is on. I’ve made the commitment to partake on Saturdays as the school is very sport driven.
So yes to Sunday the 23rd February. Albert Park Meeting point sounds Great 👍 then I do think we head out to Hanging Rock. Ray Lodder’s home visit is paid booked event through trybooking so I’m sure many won’t go. However another location can always be arranged I’m sure once a few more have joined in.

Unfortunately for you, the reason for the Saturday was to avoid any clashed with people’s other car club runs and to keep it fairly simple coffee run although it has got a bit more ambitious with the Gembrook and Hanging Rock destinations.


On the Hanging Rock location, agree probably a good choice.

A reminder to our Melbourne Australia members there is the Cars and Coffee run this coming weekend Feb 22 starting at Albert Park at 0900 and going to the Hanging Rock Cafe for coffee.


Just over an hours drive up over the top of Mt Macedon.

Was an almost perfect day, we departed with five Pagodas and one modern and unfortunately had two late non starters one with car problems and one with family diversion.

Great run to Hanging Rock Reserve via Mount Macedon today.  About an hour fifteen minute drive in full sunshine and temp 24c.  Perfect weather,

Great day had by all.

Note in your diary for next Coffee rain which will most likely be towards Gippsland.

Date 18 April 2020.  Plenty of notice, get the cars out and enjoy the ride.
