What are the torques for the bolt in the camshaft sprocket bolt?  And how about the crankshaft bolt (with the three spring washers behind the bolt).  The BBB is silent on the camshaft sprocket bolt (or I’m missing it).  I think the BBB says 21 mkp (151 ft lbs) for the “Shoulder screw or clamp nut on crankshaft front”.

150 ft lbs is correct for the crank screw. Most 1/2 torque wrenches only go to 150 ft lbs and it's really straining your wrench at it's absolute upper limit. I have a 3/4 torque wrench which rarely gets used but it works well in this application.

Thanks Dan.  I'll check my wrench and may need to borrow a bigger one from Advance.  I'll torque the camshaft sprocket to the same torque I used for the Horizontal Timing Gear sprocket.  Seems like it was 32 ft-lb but I'll confirm.

Torque value for this one is 80Nm

Hans is right: 80Nm or 8 mkp (60 ft lb) for the camshaft sprocket bolt and 210Nm or 21+1 mkp (155 ft lb) for the crankshaft bolt for 280SL.

Wow.  I'm surprised that the sprocket for the HTG is to a lesser value (5 mkp)?  Could you confirm that too, please.  I cannot read the German on this table.  Looks like it is from the BBB though so I'll check there again.
