Unless we find a better original of the sticker on my car, anything is more or less a guess. For anybody that is interested in a repro of that particular sticker should consider that it is probably not correct for any U.S. or other export 280SL. Again, while my motor is an original 130 983, the cylinder head (original on the engine) is somewhat weird. It says 280SEL/SL on it, has casting number 130 016 17 01 and a compression of 9.0.
