Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy, new, aftermarket or good used Taillight Assemblies or Parts for the 1965 230 SL≥

Try this place.  Even with shipping their prices are very competitive. They even have the bulb holders, chrome bezels, and gaskets.  Though, bear in mind that if you buy just the lenses you'll have to heat the inside edges and fold them over to affix them to the chrome bezel.

I have not bought taillights from MBclassics but have bought many many other items and had them all shipped to California.  Great seller, will remove Europe tax if shipping to USA and reasonable DHL shipping.
