Exactly,  however that is an 1-3/8” hole as well.

Pat: Are factory holes (heater pipe) standard or metric?

According to the install manual in our own technical manual the hole should be 1-3/8” not 1-3/4”. (I am in the process of drilling mine right now)  If the hole is 1-3/8” this is the grommet for it.  MB# 113 997 00 81

You are correct that I should have said 1 3/8” instead of 1 3/4”, but that is not the correct grommet. The grommet for the floor is a skirted grommet. It is not like a panel grommet. The skirted grommet, like a skirt, extends down for a particular length, to form a tunnel.

Mike,
interesting question.  I guess the heater holes would be 35mm(1.377 inches) While the AC holes are spec'd at 1-3/8" (1.375").

Shvegel, you mentioned drilling the hole that you're making.  That sounds rough!  If you're not already aware, you can buy a set of tools that are called "chassis punches".  It makes the hole a perfect circle, and it's almost effortless.  They come in SAE and Metric sizes.  Again, if you're already aware of these then disregard my reply.

Aaron,
I have a set on the ship I work on but forgot to borrow them.  I ended up using a carbide tipped hole saw that did a perfect job rivaling using a chassis punch.
