Leak at the oil gauge?

I seem to have a small leak behind the oil gauge (about i drop a day). Not sure if it is the gauge or the oil line connection that is leaking. Like to know if anyone had similar experience and what is the best way to fix it.

Louis,
I recently put my dash trim and instruments back back in my 280SL. I cleaned the oil fittings on the back of the center cluster and used plumbers putty on the threads. Seems to work well so far.

jeff,
Thank you. I was wondering if I can fix it without removing the center instrument gauges. I am planning to remove the techno and reach inside to fix the oil line connection. Like to know if this approach would work.

Yes, Louis,
Removing the left round instrument will give you xs to tighten the nut on the oil pressure line.
