Who can ID this car?
« on: March 24, 2020, 01:25:53 »
Hello All - - (especially those on the other hemisphere)

To help pass the time while we are under house arrest, my wife and I are binge watching a Netflix show called "Outlander".
In the first episode  the main character is being driven around Scotland in a vehicle I could not identify.

What is this RHD thing? Is the hood ornament intentionally phonied-up? My iPhone photo is the best capture I could get.

Going off topic about legs...I could tell I was in to cars when I found this picture of my car’s color combo and had it for years without realizing the woman is topless.  All I could think was how they got it out without scratching it on the rocks!

The whole point of owning a car like that is to get a girl like that.  There is literally no other reason to own a Pagoda.

Yeah...And once you got the girl, she makes you sell the Pagoda, because she wants a pool behind the house or a sunroom or a large walk-in closet with ample space to store all her shoes!
Get real, man!
Owning a rare or hot car is for you and you only! When you return from a drive, you park it in the garage and you pull a chair, sit down and listen to it talking to you. The engine cooling off, the body crackling and releasing the stress from the road loads and the heat...

Girls wanted to be in a Camero or a Vett. Some would settle for an MGB or some other cheaper car - and then only for the enlightened ones. Most were afraid to be seen in such an expensive car unless they were older. It just didn't fit the lifestyle of your average gal in most cases.
