Hard top storage
« on: April 25, 2020, 22:15:18 »
Hello guys , I’m in the process to buy the hard top cart in order to store the Hardtop of the car. I have a limited space and I wanted to know how much space is taken with the hard top on the cart. How wide is it?
Thank you

Hi Mauro,

Beautiful part of the world you are in! ( I’ve been to Sicily many times - both my parents were born in Calabria).

My Hardtop trolley is at my car storage facility, but l do know that the Hardtop is wider than the trolley ( overhangs) and the trolley is slightly deeper than the hardtop( maybe only 50mm).

So if you use the hardtop dimensions and add 50mm you would be very close to knowing the footprint of the trolley with roof on it.

Ciao

Hello Rob, unfortunately we cannot enjoy the Sicilian weather right now. We all hope this nightmare end soon. Let me know if you come to Sicily again and hopefully one day I will visit Australia ( my big dream).
Thanks for your help you all. I thought that the carrier with the hard top was taking more space and instead is taking only about 50-55cm ( large). Is it easy to move the cart with the wheels?

Hi Mauro,

Will surely look you up if/when l visit Sicily again - sadly we had flights booked to Italy in June this year that we will now cancel.
Hope we all get to drive and travel freely and safely soon.

The trolley is easy to push around - it also has small locks on the wheels to hold it in position.

Thanks Mauro,

That is a good price - shipment from Europe tends to be better than USA to Australia also.

I'll keep that in mind if purchase another SL :)

Hope to see you in Sicily one day to enjoy some granita and brioche on a summers day!

Ciao
