Very Tight Rocker Arm/Valve Cover

It's always difficult and a task to remove the rocker arm / valve cover. It binds between the hood latch mechanism and fuel injector lines. Wondering if this is common or if my engine is too far back? Thoughts?

Sometimes this is a sign of a worn out transmission mount. You can position a floor jack where the transmission bolts to the motor and this will lift it in the rear to give you more clearance for the valve cover.
