I just approved the listing on Bring a Trailer for my Fulvia, should 'go live' in the next week or so. Here's the driving video my son and I took, on our regular drive to the gym:

Lovely little rally car, sounds great. How's the acceleration, looks light and nimble. Shame it's in the US, I would have been a serious buyer if it was in Europe...

Thanks Peter - despite the engine only being 1,231 cc the acceleration is quite brisk, the car weighs just a bit over 900 kgs and with the five speed, geared fairly low, it has no problem speeding up the hills around here. I think it's supposed to have around 85 HP which is enough to make it a fun ride. Also all the suspension is brand new and tight, so you can really throw it into corners, with the front wheel drive aspect. I think it's right in its element here in Southern California.

Splendid car and video, Cees.
Amazing to see only two other cars on that road during your drive. You must be out in the boondocks!  ;)

Hi Alfred - yes, we live out where it is very quiet, although less than 30 miles from the Oceanside beach. Homes are on large lots (ours is on 8 acres, there are still 100+ acre pieces of land available for not that much money). There is a minimum lot size here of I believe several acres and there are many avocado farms, nurseries, horse ranches and some wineries, so it is just all very spread out and quiet. It's called De Luz Heights.

Auction just went live, will be exciting to watch. It ends next Sunday so just one day after our Pagodas and Beer get-together on Saturday.

These photos I took right by our home, so you get a sense of the area (and the car!)

Hi Cees.
Indeed, a nice bucolic area in our vicinity.
We visited Ross Lake awhile ago, specifically the old Daily Ranch, which is now a lavender farm. My wife wanted some different lavender and other plants for the garden.
Hope to see you in two weeks (April 26) at Pagodas & Beer!

The Fulvia sold this morning, for a reasonable $30K, to an enthusiast in Los Angeles. I had my reserve set at what I had invested in the car out of pocket and made a nice profit over that - nothing wild, but it's just nice to make some money off what is essentially my hobby.
Now onto finishing the Mustang - it's almost ready for paint, the engine rebuild work has been done (new pistons/rings, heads, bearings and so on), and once the paint is on we'll get onto the more fun stuff, which is re-assembling everything with mostly new parts. We're converting from automatic to a modern Tremec 5 speed.
Then back to the '61 Alfa Giulietta Sprint, then the FIAT OSCA ... Never a dull moment.

I see it had 10,000 views and 984 watchers on BaT.
What was involved in widening the track? Seems complicated.

No, simply added 2 cm aluminum wheel spacers in the rear, 1 cm in the front. I bought them from Rosso Corsa in Italy. Handling is excellent, I can/could throw it around the curves quite fast.

Yes, simple. I was envisaging extending axles..
How about the body widening - did you just carefully bend out the wheel arches or did you weld in complete new pieces? It’s a great looking car, especially in the first photo.

I welded in complete new arches, and also extended the inner wings with self-made sections of steel.

Hi Cees.
Not sure what "better" means. I hope you'll  join us on Saturday!

A friend of mine in his earlier 20s is interested in one of these (or following me down the Pagoda path). I should send him this thread. You've done a fabulous job, Cees!

Thanks! I'm really proud of the result, especially considering this was my first experience at welding, fabricating and spray painting... all from studying youtube channels and a careful approach.

Yesterday I decided to treat my self to a fun extra car from the profit I made on the Fulvia. Also 5 speed and light, but with 160 hp. Exactly in this spec, but with a convertible roof - 2014 car:
