Looking for a 1969 sales brochure for our cars.

Either if you have one or if you know of a good eBay store or vendor that sells them.
I have found the UK based vendor that is selling these for $120-400, which feels a sliver rich.

Still would love to own a real, physical copy as well, but this is a great start. I guess I can copy the pictures and print.

There are two brochures that will fit the time frame you state. The first is the white cover brochure, with MERCEDES BENZ at the top in black print with 280 SL just below it in red. At the bottom of the front cover is the grill with the star centered. The tip off is to have the one with two cars on the back, front and rear. This is the brochure from July 1968.

The other is the red cover page with a red 280 SL parked in front of a business with two awnings. This is shown as from Aug 1969.

Take a look at the Pagoda Notes history - there are several articles about the sales literature. The one you want to take a look at is Volume 2 No 4. The last two brochures listed are the ones I wrote about above.

I have quite a few W113 brochures, including some from 1968/69. The problem is, I'm in Massachusetts for two months and the brochures are back home in Florida. If you are still looking in September, please let me know.

Some 35 years ago, I bought several of the red brochures at the museum in Untertürkheim. I believe even then, they were reprints. I gave all of them away, have one left. I cannot find a date on it. They also included loose insert sheets with the technical data of the 230SL and 250SL

Thank you - I happen to be fluent in German so that's not an issue.

I don't think it is that important that you are fluent in German, but more of an issue whether your car is If you want to add the sales brochure to your car's documentation and it is a U.S. spec and U.S. sold car, you may want a sales brochure that was published in and for the U.S.

Ideally - yes. But if that's fantasy money, I'd be happy with a close second.
