In the process of restoring my hardtop, I did a lot of reading on the topic of reinstalling the rear quarter window glass in the Pagoda hardtop. Unlike most other technical instructions, there were some pretty scary messages on how difficult this task is.
The Big Blue Book instructions provide basically two sentences and two images. It is wholly inadequate.
Attached is the method that worked for me. It is an adaptation of what the factory says to do, but includes the little details and a technique that make the process go smoother.
It took me three hours to figure this out (and get the first piece of glass in place). The second piece of glass took 20 minutes. I hope this helps others going through the process.
