Firewall Pad
« on: September 20, 2020, 07:14:11 »
Hi does anyone happen to have an original material RHD firewall pad that was offered to members a few years back that is surplus to requirements?

Thanks Neil

If you cannot find one close to you then contact George at Authentic Classics, he may have one.

I have just ordered some from a new supplier.
I'll let you know if I'm happy with them when they arrive in a week or so.

I recently bought one from each of the usual suppliers - with mixed results.

Neil, I’ll send you a PM with my views.

Would you mind sharing your findings with me? I am looking to buy a firewall pad as well.

Right before PagodaFest I had in my possession a firewall pad from both Authentic Classics and Vintage Euro Parts.  I could not tell any difference between the two.

However, Vintage Euro Parts has several versions of the pad. I had the “Concourse” version when I compared the two.

Thank you mrfatboy. Based on your comparison, it appears that the Authentic classic one is $100 less than the Vintage one. That make the decision easy.
