Dear disappointed 2020 Pagoda Euro Event attendees ,

We're nearly there in search for a location . And boy did we found a great place to visit.
We need a definitive conformation so i cannot reveal to much at this point …. but i know from experience that you will like this region.

Unfortunately for those who still what to participate , our event is full at this time. Only members on our reserve list will be invited should someone drop out.
Btw our reserve list is still open.

Again every thing we do or organize is provided the region is safe and Covid19 is under control.

We cannot wait to tel you where were going ..... but sorry not now. But we will get back to you asap.

Hello All

Ok we have confirmation from the hotel and its time to reveal our destination.

Austria is our destination … to be more specific Seefeld in Tirol.
Special thanks to Peter who personally selected the places to visit and the great routes to drive ,

We knew that the chosen 2020 destination was very likeable to everyone so we tried to be as near to that as possible.
We got a great deal with the hotel ( attendees will get to more specific information about that ) and we will stay there for 3 days .

So wright on your calender 23..26 September, 2021 Pagoda Euro Event : Seefeld , Austria.
Our event is full at this moment , but our reserve list is still open.

The deposit will be made out to the hotel what will make it solid. Now lets hope the world will be over this dreadful covid 19 crisis and we can meet up in 2021.

Ah, between Insbruck (been there w/ Pagoda on the way to/from EE 2016) and Sautens (been there w/o Pagoda).
My Pagoda already knows that part of the World a bit (but not enough)!

Absolutely phantastic, looking very very much forward to it. Can't await it.

Thanks to all of you, and in particular to Peter for this nice location.

We expect to know the name of the Hotel pretty soon, it seems that there are plenty, and all are fantastic, in order to forget 2020 and dream to the 2021 Euro Event.

In the meantime, let's furbish our loved Pagodas.

Like Ralph, we need to have the international departure bans lifted and at this stage they are suggesting at best mid next year. Here is hoping as we cannot go anywhere at the moment.

I just read an article advising AGAINST INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR, even after getting the vaccine against COVID-19.

Not sure what Kathy and I will do yet. A good pal is in the ICU with it right now, with no pre-existing conditions. No improvement after 8 days.

We need to research more.

We are starting to get the same information here as well that it will be at least to the end of the year and only what is classed as essential international flights will be approved and a covid inoculation certificate will be required for that. All future flights with Qantas or any other aircraft coming into and out of Australia will require inoculation certificates for each passenger.

I have been following the situation in nearby Italy fairly closely as we need to return as soon as it is safe. The emergency measures there were extended to July a few days ago. Six months in the USA has now stretched into fourteen and I can't see a window opening until at least mid summer.

We are keeping our fingers crossed!

At this point the chances of Kate and I being allowed to fly out of and back into Australia under the current Australian COVID International departure rules in 2021 are very slim.

All eyes on the Covid inocculation success both here and all over the world.

Hello guys ,

A small update.

A world in lock-down and in grips of a virus , is not good for a event organisers.
We're all having our fingers crossed that the inoculation will be the answer and that we can proceed with our event.
Our hotel did not require a deposit until August , so in case of a "no go "we will refund everyone asap.
Or we will go ahead with a spring event in 2022 , just to keep all options open.

And yes we are still filled up to the max Reinhold , but i will put you on the reserve list.

Hey, how is everybody?- Hope we are all managing to stay Healthy somehow.

I'm interested to know if we think the event is still a possibility this year? If still no idea- no problem.

Us Brits have been in lockdown for around 7 months and we're ready to party, if you Europeans will let us in of course

Yes..., AFAIK the Event is gonna take place.

Have not heard of any cancellation yet ...
.... and since things are slightly improving (Corona-wise) here in Europe,
we are all pretty optimistic.
