What torque for the Box bolts ?
« on: November 01, 2020, 06:30:47 »
I am reassembling the rear cover plate of the Box after replacing the radial shaft  seals  and wonder what is the torque for the bolts showed on the photo below  ?
They seem  have some thread lock when i have unscrewed them but need a confirmation.
I don't find these torque value on the BBB  which shows another kind of box

yves: Haynes says Rear Cover Bolts large 45Nm, Rear Cover Bolts small 15Nm. I hope those are the ones. They are called 'bolts' and you show "nuts", but this is the only thing I could find for rear cover.

Thank's Mike  you are right , 1 is a bolt with two threads opposite  and nut at the middle  2 is the nut for the bracket for the rubber box fixation
