I watched it until they unloaded it and then I lost interest. Pick up was far too easy for such a dead car.

I guess after dragging as many cars home as I have I found it interesting enough. Going on a car safari is always a fun deal.
  I remember flying down to Greensborough NC with a friend to pick up the Red Rocket. We flew one way out of Detroit for about 30 dollars each because it was a weekend flight and the plane was almost empty. The stewardess was very sweet and sat with us for a while.
S: So, where are you two going?
Me: Greensborough NC.
S: What for?
It was the middle of December 1993 - who goes there that time of year. She knew we were both Canadian.
Me: We're going to buy a car.
S: Have you seen it yet?
Me: No......
S: Your flight is only one way! What if you don't like it?
Me: I'll like it or buy a one-way ticket back home.
She brought us both a mixed drink on the house and I think maybe she thought we were both crazy. I bought the car and we set out on Sunday after lunch for the drive home.
 We stopped somewhere in Ohio for the night and we were back home Monday late afternoon. A fun trip actually.

who the heck would buy a car that has been under water twice?  Such Rot.  it would cost so much to get going again, and I would never buy a vehicle that is only 20% original.  I guess that's what happens when the price of clean ones skyrocket.  The dead ones are brought back to life.  Just hope for full disclosure.  enough of these on the road and we will all be impacted with negative press.

You also need to watch the information about the Porsche 911, starts about 29 minutes in. I won't spoil the surprise.

This video is dated April 2019, what did they do with this, or what do they do with these kind of cars in general? Parts? Restore? Sell?

I admit to being curious, so I went out to their website. They do not appear to do the restoration work (they have a post about a "barn find" 911T. They show the car coming out of the storage garage, and then a huge number of photos of the finished product.

They do have some rather nice vehicles on the Sales page.

I could find no further reference to the 280 SL and what happened to it.
