Steering Wheel
« on: February 25, 2021, 00:12:46 »
This Steering Wheel was removed from a car in Germany 40 years ago; it has been in heated storage ever since.   I do not remember the model or year, but it shows very little evidence of age and use, and It fits several 70’s models.  The 4 chrome trim pieces are intact and there are no scratches, mars or defects, none at all!  It is in near new condition!, $300.00 plus actual shipping,   Sorry, domestic sales only,  LLLL

I have seen this on the 107 chassis. Certainly, not correct for the 113.

Harry, I think you are correct on both counts!  The “think” relates to the 107, don’t know that, and for the Pagoda, certainly not, I’m not even sure it would fit!  Thanks for your comment, Larry

If you change the hub, later wheels of the 107 will actually fit the W113. When I bought my car, a PO had installed a 107 steering wheel and shifter knob.
I chnaged the steering wheel back to an ivory version. Needed to get a "Pralltopf" to do so.

Actually quite different and much nicer than what is on my 107 (1988, 560 SL, USA version).  Could be from an an earlier 107, or possibly unique to a European version.

The late version of the steering wheel from W113 fits 107 and fits W116, actually. The EPC would suggest W107/W116 steering wheel as replacement for late W113 cars.
