Hardtop glass removal
« on: March 02, 2021, 14:53:36 »
Is there a certain procedure for removing the glass from the sides of a Pagoda hardtop? I didn't see it in the technical manual unless I'm missing something. Thanks!

I always work on the assumption that I'll be fitted new rubber so I just cut the old rubber to remove the glass.

Have you looked here? https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Tops/HardTop
There is Gernold's article and also a Service Bulletin PDF.

Personnally I carefully used a heater to help.
The rubber was so old and hard that I was afraid of breaking the glass during the process.
Heat and thick gloves made the job a bit easier.
