Hello--

Ordering is now OPEN for the Pagoda World Book Volume 1. We will keep this ordering open for 4-6 weeks. Upon closing, we'll have the books printed and mailed.

We will NOT be inventorying books; if you want one, you'll need to order in advance. They will not be available after the order period.

Even though I have the individual ones in France (including the somewhat rare European version of the very first edition; if my memory serves me well, only the first issue was printed for 'rest of world' in A4 format, rather than the US 'letter' format. I had it done in Amsterdam and sent them out from there, back in (2003?).
Still will be very nice to have the first 10 together in one volume, so I am 'in'. Thanks for going through the trouble to pull this together, much appreciated.

MIchael - i am still looking for my pagoda but would consider buying this neatly bound treasure.  any chance it could be hard bound even if at extra cost?  not trying to add complexity, just asking if it was possible with minimum effort.  thanks for this wonderful initiative.

I just wanted to ask. Will everyone ordering also get a Customs bill for the book as well. If so will the Customs charge be calculated on the higher cost of the publication of 90 Dollars, because one is not a full member?.

As for customs charges, most likely this can't be predicted or estimated, given how different the rules are around the globe.

All books going out will have a "combined" CN22 Customs Form and integral prepaid shipping label in accordance with postal regulations. I will be preparing all the shipping labels once the project is completed and all will be posted at the same time; once printed AlexD has a plan for packaging and mailing. They will be noted as "magazines" which is indeed what they are; the fact that it's ten of them together bound as one, should not matter. We cannot control what the receiving country's customs or post people do but I suspect that these will be tax and VAT free. As the labels are all prepared out of PayPal and tied to the paid invoice, we cannot alter the customs value of USD $65; it will not let us.

Hello All,

To answer a few questions all at once here regarding the Pagoda World Book. 

Simply stating on this thread "I want one", " Send Me One", "Reserve Me One" or anything similar will not get you a book.   You must place an order and pay the invoice in order to receive a Pagoda World Book - see first posting from Mike Salemi for ordering information.

Included in the cost of $65 USD per book for FULL MEMBERS ($90 for NON MEMBERS) is shipping, any local or customs tax will be the responsibility of the buyer, as stated by Cees we have no way of knowing every individual countries local customs taxes.

Once the order period is closed all the books will be printed and mailed at one time in one large shipment, expected to be early June 2021 provided normal business operations are in place and we are not faced with any Covid-19 issues.  We will not have any excess inventory of books to purchase at a later date. 

Unfortunately with the printing technology we are using to produce the book, a hard copy version will not be available at this time.
