Wheel Change Instruction Card on a 230 Sl 1964 year
« on: April 29, 2021, 09:57:25 »

Dear all -

there is a great guy in Germany making very good reproductions of all sorts of decals - including the wheel chnaging instructions in about three versions ...

However one question still begs - which version would have gone into a 1964 230 SL (standing spare wheel) and where would they have put the card.

The pictures in this (closed) thread( https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=9819.msg72739#msg72739) are all 250 and 280 - and the card went on the opposite side of the spare wheel.

Any pointers ?

Cheers

Oliver

I don’t know about any differences in tire change tags of sl models. Maybe somebody else does if there is

The technical manual has an excellent reproduction of it as well as other decals here:

Cheers MrFatBoy -

the Germans identified two different ones (the one in the middle is an internet decoy of the one to the left) - https://www.pagodentreff.de/diskussionsforum/threads/diverse-neue-aufkleber-aus-der-pipeline-und-anfragen.18649/page-2#post-134323

All the best
