replacing light bulbs for heating and cooling bezel
« on: June 17, 2021, 07:49:01 »
Hi, I've got pretty much all the instruments working on my 280SE 3.5 but the light bulbs that glow green/blue in this area don't work, (the red ones do) at night. What is the best way to access these, and where can i get new bulbs plse?

You might want to consider switching to LED bulbs. Do a search for “LED heater bulb replacement”. Lots of info.

This is on a w111? Is this for the lower dash mounted a/c unit? I always thought that all W111 cars (early or late) had the same climate control slide controls that are mounted up high on the dash. I do not think they have lighted controls like the W113 and W108 cars do. Mine do not and have taken the entire assembly out. Maybe a picture of what area you are referring to?

Hi Wallace, no it is a W108 body, not a W111, the ventilation controls are high up on the dash, and do have the red and blue colours. There is no AC on this car
