Asking for advice on a W113...

Hello everyone
I've been on many forums (different subject matters) that have an excess of posts along the lines of "should I buy this widget?" with a link to the item for sale - could be from a dealer, eBay, another forum, auction, etc.

What I'm wondering is...if I would love to get an opinion from individuals here (could be via PM if people are more comfortable, or just on the thread) on a particular W113, is it "OK" to post for discussion? And does the answer depend on if the car is on eBay v BAT v dealer etc.?

Of course, the rule always applies that I have to do all my homework before posting and not leave it to others to do my work.    I know that collectors/enthusiasts can often spot things quickly that those of us far newer (though trying our best) can't, and it would love a second opinion.

Perfectly ok to ask for opinions on a car you are considering buying. You will have eagle eyes on it in no time ..

And be sure to add pictures to go along with the description. Perhaps not as many as you would find on Bring a Trailer(!) but enough to get a reasonable view of the car, or specific areas.
