Heater Motor Mounting Grommet PN?
« on: July 19, 2021, 12:54:00 »
Does anyone know the MB part number for the grommets being used as motor mounts for the heater motor?  I've combed through a number of websites and this forum and I can't seem to find it.  I would be remiss if I put it back together without new rubber!  Not a job I want to do a second time!

There is a grommet for the wire cable there, pn A 000 997 18 81, 1 piece.

Motor mounts - this could be 3 pieces of this: A 000 835 01 93, installed as of ident. no.: 044 017154. I think they are NLA, but you may ask dealer, maybe they are replaced with something. I do not see them available neither at SLS nor Niemoeller.

If its the rubber mounts you are looking for, I have the blower box out. My mounts still look ok. If you don't have the old ones any more, I can give you dimensions and you can order generic ones from parts store or amazon.....

I don’t want you to compromise your mounts to get the measurement! That is the main reason I did not pull mine apart. To be honest they look suspiciously similar to the grommet that holds the cable into the plastic air control flap…
