Technical Literature
« on: May 15, 2003, 22:54:03 »
The latest issue of "The Star Magazine" (May/June)has an extensive list of technical literature available from Mercedes-Benz Classic Center. This list has the part numbers for ordering  and the prices for everything listed. Service Manuals, Spare Parts Lists, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Technical Data Books, Maintenance Booklets, and owner's manuals are listed. Quite a bit of 113 literature is available (new reprints). Buying some of these items new, may be cheaper and easier than Ebay!?

Joe
Can we steal this list and reprint it here ? Would MB care if it resulted in more sales for them. I guess Frank might not like it, but I don't think everyone here gets the star,so.........

Hello Richard,
This information should be available to the public from the Mercedes Classic Center anyway. We can also extract the W113 information and form our own list with the "proper" acknowledgements to "The Star" article.

Joe and others:

To avoid copyright problems and the chore of re-typing the list of classic publications, here is a link to the MB Classic Center.

Go to http://www.mercedes-benz.com/e/mbclassic/default.htm
Then click on Classic Center, then Spare Parts Retail, then Technical Literature.

The link is nice because MB will keep the list updated for us.
For convenience of North American customers: call the Classic Center in the US (866)622-5277 and give them the publication number for easy ordering.
Hope this is helpful.
