Funny about this, to me at least, is that the lister/seller's location is shown as within 1 km of our yacht in the marina, in Marina del Rey which neighbours Venice Beach. If that is correct, I can go have a face-to-face chat with the guy/lady.
I expect that synthetic fuels will remain available so we can run our oldtimers, for which there likely will be exemptions to 'no more fossile fuel automobiles' that's been signed into law in more and more countries. I think we just had this discussion in another thread. But equally interesting will be these EV conversions, also as rebuild parts become scarcer and even more expensive. With the huge increases in volume of production of motors, controllers, chargers and batteries, the prices of EV conversions, at least the basic hardware, will likely plummet over the coming years. So it may become a fairly easy thing to do before too long.
