Engine/motor mounts part number(s)??
« on: September 06, 2021, 16:36:43 »
I thought I had a thread with the correct MB part numbers but I can't find it or them..  I have the front and rear subframe part numbers but after 2 hours of reading various threads and looking through my manuals - I need help.  From my manuals I come up with 127 220 07 30 but this number must have been superseded and does not show up in any parts searches.... I'd like the genuine MB parts.

Ok, and it is, I assume, 113.042? Will check morning and come back.

If it is the large round type it is 1802231012, if it is the small round type it is 1202230412

It is a bit tricky, just looking at the parts list and some experience on what fits what would be useful.

Following Vander: A 1202230412 is a repair kit for engine mounts. In the parts list it is designated to 043 and 044. It does not show up on parts list for 042. However - when you look for the part by the part number it does show up as fitting 042.

My guess is (as Vander is also suggesting two types) that, as these parts changed at chassis number 042 012864, this repair kit would fit your chassis, because there are parts numbers for mounts below this chassis number (A1802231012), but there are no other part numbers for mounts above this chassis number.

So it looks like for you it is the repair set A1202230412, which primarily fits 043 and 044 cars, but also fits 042 as of chassis 042 012865, this is my guess.

You may also want to change the plate (7), which is A 121 223 04 31 for your chassis no and bolts (8 ) A 127 220 00 71. Upper bolt (9) is N 000931 012120.

The PN you quoted is not recognized by the system.

A1802230912 fits all.

I am certainly not arguing with your statement. I am sure it does if you say so.

The EPC says this part number is for W108, W110 and W111, not W113. Left hand side one.
