Injection pump shaft
« on: October 02, 2021, 18:40:39 »
I’m heading to the garage and plan on finishing the front end of the engine today.
I looked up the torque values for most components except the IP shaft nut. One in the pic.

So does anybody remember that torque value for F.I. shaft ? Can’t find it in my book.
Camshaft 58 ft/lb, crankshaft 150 ft/lb, F.I. if I recall correctly 48ft/lb?

2nd question here is the length of the M6 bolts securing the distributor cover. For some reason two of them are shorter (15mm). According to the diagram they should all be the same 18mm. Is there something I’m not aware of here or just someone’s sloppiness?
