While I can see the 1973 cut-off (long hood) I am somewhat confused by the 1967 start. Other than 1967 being the official A-body designation, the first Targa option and the first availability of the "Fuchs' wheels, there is no significance to a 1967. It still has the same 2.0L and the same short wheel base  as 1966 and 1968..?? 912s came out in 1965/66, depending on the market.

Do you want SWB or LWB? 1968 was SWB, 1969 on was LWB.

I tried to say that. 1966-1968 basically the same.  1969 was a key change. 2.2L and LWB

Is there a good place in the US, where you can buy such Porsche 911?

Of course, everybody would say California. Due to the climate there, most older, used cars have little rust. Also, there is probably where most Porsches were/are sold new. As the demand for these cars has somewhat skyrocketed, however, you can find good examples all over the place. They travel quite a bit. You may find a good deal in the Midwest and South (Ohio to Kansas/Nebraska, Illinois to Florida) Most metropolitan areas are a good place to look.

Many thanks Mike. But are there also some other dealers like Alex Manos from Beverly Hills Car Club?
Is there in CA also on other popular place like Craigs List for private sales?
