Automatic Transmission adjustment
«

I'll preface with, I'm a newbie with my 280 and recently replaced the shifter bushing on my 1968 automatic. After doing so, the shifter is a bit out of position with the shift gate housing positions. How do I adjust this? Thanks so much, Kevin

The lever or arm that attaches to the shifter is adjustable. I can send you a pic later if needed.

Thanks Dirk, Photo was helpful to confirm the fix. Disconnected and removed shifter plate and rod for access.I don't think it could have been done any other way.
