Badges finally installed
« on: February 07, 2022, 16:54:27 »
I had these two badges sat on the shelf for ages and have finally gotten round to having them installed.

The car has done 151800 miles, which is over 244000 km so the 200000 km badge has been earned, and the Pagoda SL Group badge looks great I think.

They look great!

How did you attach them to the bumper?

Cześć Pawel,

The bracket is L-shaped and attached under the front valence, not to the bumper.  I will try and take another photo showing how it is done.
Jim.

After all that effort I went through to devise an adequate mounting procedure to put a GRILL BADGE on the GRILL, you go and add this to a bracket like it's an old MG with a badge bar???  ;)

 ;D ;D ;D

I think it's more visible where it is than if it was on the Grill

Are those Pagoda SL Group badges still available? If not, are there any plans to do another run??

Thanks

Rahul, there are no badges left.

This was a project conducted in 2018 and that campaign, like the two book projects in 2021, was one with a brief life. After the program ended, as per usual there were a few people who didn't respond to the program announcements and of course we had some extras to fulfill these few orders. In the middle of 2019, a year after the program ended, we sent the remainder to the organizing committee of PagodaFest 2019 in San Diego, and they were used as gifts or prizes.

Probably in a couple of years, once there's been enough turnover and demand with newer members who were not around in 2018, we'll revisit doing another project. Like many similar kinds of things, you need a certain number of orders to justify the purchase, else the cost per unit is too much.

Understood, and thanks for taking the time to reply - I'll put my hand up for one when they next come around, they look very well done!
