Hi Guys A big thanks for your help in the past . Advise needed again my car is a 1967 SL 230 and therefore was not fitted with the extra Thermo switch . Please see photo my question is what should fix to the spare screw connection on the pod .

My 66 230 has the thermo switch in the location you are showing. I didn’t know it was removed or relocated for 67.

I suppose you could buy a plug - probably an Allen wrench type. But Dirk's got it, are you really sure your car didn't originally come with the TTS?

Yes, the empty hole is for a "thermo time switch" and not the additional "time switch" sensor used on the early 230SLs. All pagodas use the "thermo time switch". Only the earliest versions 230SL used both the "time switch" and "thermo time switch".

Mine is a 1965 230 SL Attached please see a photo of mine with two terminals with pink to one and pink and blue to the other. ( Ignore the green wire which goes to ground to bypass my failed TTS)

Thanks to all , the thermo time switch has been lost in the rebuild , just ordered from the SL shop . 001 545 92 24 .
