Shaft vibration

Hi all, got a bad drive line vibration. Put my car up on a lift and the front of the drive shaft between the flex and transmission looks a bit far back to me? Is there a nut on the transmission output shaft that may be loose? I am hoping to get some lift time again later this week and pull some things apart. Ghx

wow! looks like the flange nut has loosened and the three-arm flange is working it's way off the shaft. 

Ghx, I hate to be coarse but I don't think I'd drive the car until that flange is tightened. Is your speedometer erratic or still working?

Yes it appears that way, thank you for those images. This transmission was completely rebuilt by a company in Las Vegas they also sent out the injector pump to be rebuilt. So far once I got the vehicle back to me I found many loose nuts and bolts, loose wires and now this.  It looks like I should be able to pull the flex coupler and access that Nut. Thank you

You'll need a "grooved" socket to tighten that flange nut (example photo attached). I had mine loosen a few years ago - the first indication I had was an erratic speedometer.

Any idea if that special socket has a part number for a size so I can get one ordered? I’ve looked through about any shaft and transmission blowup diagram that I could find. strange that I never see this nut on the diagram. I’m sure somehow I overlooked it but this is pretty much the situation and I have been expecting.  Thx

Seems there is an MB part number, I've searched through the forum a number of times but can't find it. The tool is crazy expensive and several guys in this group have made their own out of a regular 1 1/8 socket: https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=7828.msg61029#msg61029.
