Is there a way to tighten the side view mirrors?  (I'm not reffering to the base.)  Seems that they always get missaligned at the slightest touch.

I recall when I changed the mirror glass on mine, that there is a screw behind the glass that can be tightened to make the mirror more stable.  Carefully remove the plastic mirror seal, then remove the glass...  If your seal is old, it will crack or break.  Probably best to have a new one on hand before you do this.  They are pretty cheap.
Good Luck!

There is a spring behind the mirror glass.   Push the glass straight back and the plastic trim can be easily extracted.   Then you'll see the tightening bolt.

It's a two minute fix.

I had the same problem as hauser, and thanks to your advice, it is fixed...3 minutes though.  I had to put the screwdriver together and then take it apart and replace it in the tool roll.
