It is a pet peeve of mine when people don't use punctuation.  For example:

Let's eat, grandma.
Let's eat grandma.

So, what I think he meant was:

WTB: 280sl, manual transmission, good++ condition, original or restored (but not aftermarket creation), not a project car.  Prefer silver, black, or green body paint.  No accidents or rust.

This was his first post on the forum, we'll see if he comes back to check this thread.

If you read the whole post, not just the first line, it was pretty obvious what he meant.

Along those lines, there is a funny joke about a koala bear and a prostitute - google it at your own disretion. Since I'm new to the forum, I will not cut and paste it in this thread, as some might find it offensive.

Whilst I hate to diverge from the lingusitics conversation, I now dare to turn to the issue at hand, namely.....does anyone have a 280 SL, in good +++ condition, with a manual transimission, that is not a project car, and happens to be rust free, which such said car they would be willing to sell???

I hereby declare that my preference for such a subject car would be that the exterior paint color be one of the following hues: silver, black, green or blue.

(I think I burned through the comma key on my keyboard) LOL.

Sure. Send me your email address ( by PM ) and I can send what I have. Car will be getting a new exhaust system next week, door glass tightened up, new shifter bushings, and I've already done the throttle linkages. This car also has a 3.27 axle installed with restored gauges to go with it.

Yes, last summer. I have three others. 230, 250, 280SL's.
