Trunk Diff Mount Torque
« on: April 12, 2023, 15:28:36 »
The Haynes manual says that the bolt for the differential rubber mount in the trunk is 87 ft-lbs.   The BBB says the torque for the "hexagon screw at the top of the rubber mounting for support of rear axle" is 18 mkg - which equates instead to about 130 ft-lbs.  That's a lot of toprque and quite a bit of difference in torque values.  Thoughts?

i did 87. 130 sounds way too high. Go with the lower spec until you are sure it should be 130.
