A few more Pagodas have "Popped" up on Ebay UK in the last day or two

Under Automotive > Classic cars > Mercedes

Any comments on prices compared to other parts of the world?

So either the insurance company paid out for the car being a write-off

Or they took the insurance money and managed not to spend it on nthe car that they are now selling

It doesn't look like that extra piece of protective chrome strip did to much to help keep the door dings off.

Been thinking about getting a real beat-up Pagoda to convert to a rally-car. This might be it, although I am concerned that the reserve price is too high, considering the damage there.

I had thought of the same thing
One "plot" would be to sell off the interior etc to re coupe (pun intended) some of the money, but unless I inherit a very large wedge of cash in the next few days it will remain a dream

Another way to look at it would be that a lot of Pagodas would require new panels anyway due to rust issues and this seems to be outer panel work.

If it could be bought at a reasonable price and then restored it could turn out okay comercially !

So, whats a reasonable price for the car on this side of the pond?
Is this just a fender-bender or would the be structural damage at the windscreen pillar and sill?

Is this one a better buy?

I thought of the same thing also - selling off the better parts pieces (like chrome etc not needed) to generate some cash for the necessary repairs. Still I think it's too much. I will start checking around in The Netherlands for candidates.
