Project car indeed! Looks to be in the same or needier condition than what I started with in 1999.

Over 1,000 restoration hours and a lot of sublet work required on mine. This example presents a long time project for those so inclined.

This car was put in storage in the mid 90's by my father.  I did ride in it at that time.  It has not ran since.  There is rust on the floors.  Someone used fiberglass patching and aluminum.  I purchased new panels from K and K Manufacturing and was planning to replace.  This car needs a full restoration in my opinion.

For someone who is handy this looks like a good project with much sheet metal already provided.

As a comparable example, look what I did last year in a few months' time to a Triumph Spitfire. If you can cut, weld and grind, it's doable. Painting can be done very nicely for under $1,000 as well:

I think I would truly enjoy being retired with a project this extensive. I don’t think my wife would put up with that much time in the garage though!

You most likely will need more panels though.
