Dad is 101. He has the body of someone maybe 75, or so the medical professionals tell us. The doctors are generally in awe of him, as they rarely have any kind of clinical experience to deal with someone that age. Overall he's in remarkable condition for a man 75...but he's 101. He is 100% mobile, just started walking with a cane for stability. As mentioned, he still drives, cooks, bakes and does everything everyone else does. Just a bit slower. His stamina is down quite a bit from when he was 95. At 95 he was still climbing ladders. We stopped that soon after.
I tried calling him Tuesday morning but I forgot...he had driven to his yoga class. No joke.
On 14-June, we celebrated his birthday at Scargo Cafe in Dennis (Cape Cod) Massachusetts. Here he is on his 101st birthday. Normally he's wearing his WWII Veteran's Hat which brings him all kinds of attention (not to mention the proverbial free lunch) but I made him remove the hat for this photo.
