As the title says, looking for a radio delete plate for an early 250SL.

I prefer to find the original one. The emblems on authentic classics looks crooked.

Do you think the trunk and radio delete share the same emblem?

Looking at the cost of the radio delete plate plus the logo that goes on it, if it were me, I would just find a Becket radio instead!

Michael, this is how my Pagoda came from factory, trying to get her back together as accurately as possible. Will eventially score one.

I've got these.  Emblem looks same as trunk lid, but i have no 250's.

It's for the narrow radio opening, so I guess earlier 250SL, which is what you're looking for?

With patience and a long nose pliers, you could modify the 8 into a 5 as a temporary solution, until you find the correct one for your 250SL.
I worked for me.

Mdsalemi makes a good point a Becker radio is economical a better treat to yourself, that’s what I did.
