Engine revision in the Netherlands

I know there are more than one Dutch members here, does anybody have recommendations for a complete engine revision in (or close to) the Netherlands?

Hei, Kai Opitz and his mechanics at www.motoren-ritterbecks.de in Heinsberg, Germany, did my 230SL M127-engine. Everything went perfect. I got an overhauled fuel injection pump from Dr. Ing. Hans Fritzsche (www.oldtimer-technik.eu). Ritterbecks did a tune-up of the complete fuel injection system on the dyno and the car drives amazing smooth and powerful. Five stars, very experienced.

The price depends highly on the work you do by yourself (e.g. pulling the engine, disassemble, clean, blabla) because this takes hours of hours and is no origin work of an engine shop. I sandblasted all parts by myself, took care for common spare parts which were recommended (gaskets, rubber parts). The engine work is a precision job and has not do be done by monkeys feeded with peanuts. Sometimes cheap means to pay double...I think a full service job which means bring and pick up the car is around 15-20k?

Ritterbecks does that days a vintage italian high-performance engine for me and I am looking forward to let it roaaaar. The tune-up on the dyno is in my opinion a "must-have" to provide a perfect result.

If the engine has been taken out, I would count on €8,500 to €10,000 for the engine, the automatic transmission €3,500, the injection pump €1,500 to €2,000.

The manual gearbox is now under revision for about €2000,- It's completely checked and measured, only the bearings, gaskets and seals need to be replaced. The housing will also be made like new again.
I brought the engine to an oldtimer engine specialist and got a quote of €21000,-, which is actually still an entry-level price. I guess everything will be renewed for that. I'm gonna talk to them tomorrow, but I am already looking for another specialist who does the same as the gearbox, only replacing the necessary parts.

I recommend getting all parts replaced.  If you leave it up to someone to determine if a part needs replaced or not, they may make the wrong evaluation or decision.  And, non-replaced parts will wear out soon (compared to replaced parts) and the engine may need to be taken apart again in just a couple years!  If all parts are fresh, they all work together as designed by Mercedes.

This rebuilder has a list under "Every remanufactured engine we supply includes the following".  I think this is the way to go.  Just do it all.

I know some who were offered cheap engine revisions. Not everything has to be replaced and it doesn't have to cost 8,000 euros. The end result was often a disaster and cost several times more afterwards. It wasn't worth the risk for my two revisions.

The price affer was even more than expected, between €25000,- and €30000,-. 
I took all my parts with me and will soon bring them to another engine shop, specialised in Old MB engines.
There are a lot of parts in an W113 engine!
