heat reflective mat location query
« on: January 30, 2024, 16:19:01 »
Hi all,

Just a quick query.  I have a 1m x 0.8m piece of heat reflective matting.  Am I correct in stating that the main place that will see heat is the tunnel area?

Regards

If your car is RHD, the exhaust runs right under your seat, so sort of a toss-up between there and the tunnel

I would say put under seat for best results.

I would buy by another mat and start at fire wall and go all the way back to the rear.

That will work, you will notice a difference. I did all the cabin floors, to not only keep floors cool but to keep noise out.
