Kickdown switch for 280SL

It seems that there is no connector for my kickdown switch. I have looked everywhere inside my engine compartment with no luck. The wire color is red/black and brown/black.

Dear Mr. henderson

The kickdown connector is normally in a loom in the cabin in the same one that has the hig/low beam switch , and then continues behind the carpet to the right.  It exits the cabin through a hole above the accelerator pedal.

Underneath the black tape, exiting the cabin as described above.

Thank you, found the holes. I should have taken photos of that area when stripping the interior out.
